Our story

A garden built together.

Concord Community Garden was established in 2013 by local gardeners with the support of the City of Canada Bay. From 12 original timber beds, the garden has grown into a thriving shared space with 36 growing beds.

Since 2013

From twelve beds to a shared garden.

The garden has operated continuously since 2013. Members have used their initiative and practical skills over the years to source funds and materials to expand and improve the garden and its facilities and equipment. The garden has always had a communal growing focus, as this creates better opportunities for effective crop rotation, more productive harvests and a closer sense of community.
